Steven studied painting and film at the Birmingham Polytechnic School of Art & Design (now BIAD) while majoring in Psychology at the adjacent Aston University. He has held residences and lived in Atlanta, GA, San Diego, CA, Mexico City, and Granada (ES). His art practice is now based in London and Toledo (ES).

Caja Miraculum are the collective art spaces of Steven M. de Ciantis in London and Toledo (Spain)
